Pantheon

In order to stay awake on Day 1, I headed for a long walk.  The Pantheon was the obvious destination:  the greatest still-complete work of Roman architecture standing, and an inspiration for western architecture since it was built nearly two thousand years ago.  (Okay, so the church took most of the exterior marble for the Vatican, but the dome remains as it was).
